Batley Central is part of the Batley Circuit. There are two other churches in the circuit; Hanging Heaton and West Ardsley Methodist Churches. The Circuit Youth meet on the second and fourth Sundays of each month, from 7:15 p.m. to 8:45 p.m. and we meet at all three churches in rotation. The group is split into two meetings: on the second Sunday, young people from 9 years and above meet for informal and fun time together. This can be anything from pool, table tennis, Playstation, football, basketball, snooker, etc. On the fourth Sunday in the month, the youth is only for people of secondary school age and above, and the evening, though still informal, is based around a very simple Christian message. The purpose of Circuit Youth is to be a bridge between the Youth Club and the Sunday School; we have loads of fun, games and activities, but learn about the love of God at the same time. The young people have a large involvement in the content of the activities, and we also go on trips such as ice skating, bowling, Laser Questing and anything else the young people can persuade us to do!
